Tiburon, CA November 3, 2009 – The technological wave is cresting, and the Kagin’s family of companies is riding it. Along with the soft launch of newly redesigned websites earlier this year, Kagin’s & Holabird-Kagin Americana now present another way to experience numismatics through the World Wide Web: Kagin’s Klub. This free membership program will feature exclusive offers, a first shot at new inventory, and subscriptions to upcoming newsletters and pricelists from Kagin’s, Inc. and Holabird-Kagin Americana. A welcome package includes collecting guides and numismatic literature straight from the desks of the companies’ numismatic experts, plus a coupon for 10% off their next purchase. “We want our clients and potential clients to have access to all of our offerings, especially our new inventory, Don Kagin explains. “We see how the internet is changing the way collectors enjoy numismatics, and in order to foster this change, we want to give incentive to those by creating a membership with many privileges.”
Among these privileges includes access to new inventory, before it is offered to the public. Each week, new inventory will be posted in a Member’s Only section that Kagin’s Klub members can access through their free online account. Another benefit members will enjoy is a free subscription to upcoming pricelists and promotions that will only be available via Kagin’s Klub. Although these benefits and others are geared toward the online experience, both companies remain committed to some traditions that members will surely enjoy: automatic enrollment into the company’s Catalog & Collecting Guide Program, featuring full color publications with high definition photos of numismatic material and its history, written and researched by numismatic experts. These publications are award winning keepsakes, chock full of the fascinating stories behind the coins, currency and ephemera offered.
Rounding out a comprehensive offering of member benefits is a welcome package which includes the first Collector’s Edition of the Society of Private and Pioneer Numismatists’ newsletter, the Brasher Bulletin. This newsletter is normally only available to SPPN members, but as Kagin says “we are committed to sharing our passion for numismatics, what better way than to support our favorite club by increasing exposure outside current membership?” Interested Kagin’s Klub members will also be able to join SPPN if they wish, and Kagin’s will absorb the New Member Joining Fee. “We are excited about the increased levels of access for collectors that the internet is providing,” Don concludes, “we are committed to riding this technology wave as far as it will take us.”
